The high-temperature fan is designed for blasting the coal layer with gases, as well as for moving the gaseous medium with a temperature of up to 600 ° C through the pipelines of the unit. The fan design was calculated using the finite element method which allowed to determine the strength characteristics of the impeller and natural frequencies of the fan transmission which made it possible to use the shaft and impeller of the optimal design as well as to design an effective air cooling system for the shaft preventing overheating of the first bearing.
To prevent vibrations and to ensure a long service life of the bearings and the high-temperature impeller a vibration test was carried out.
The main specifications of high-temperature fan are the following:
• Fan capacity up to 2400 m3/h;
• Total pressure at the density of the pumped gas 0.8kg/m3 up to 4200 Pa;
• Maximum temperature of transmitted medium up to 600 C˚;
• Motor power 11 kW.
