High-temperature furnace fan is designed to create forced circulation of the heat transfer agent inside the working space of the thermal furnace. High-speed blowing with a heat transfer agent allows to increase the convective heat transfer coefficient on the surfaces of the processed parts which makes their heating faster and more uniform contributing to the furnace productivity and improving the heat treatment quality of processed parts.
When the fan was being designed, some technical solutions were applied that allowed to connect the electric motor, pulleys and belt drive with the tensioning system inside the fan frame. This reduced its overall dimensions and simplified the maintenance process.
The high-temperature furnace fan design (which allows transporting a heat transfer agent with a temperature of up to 900 C˚) includes the forced air shaft cooling system as well as the shaft of special design.
These technical solutions made it possible to give up the bearing assemblies water cooling which was previously used on the fans of other manufacturers.
To prevent vibrations and ensure long service life of the bearings and high temperature impeller a vibration test was performed on the fan.
