The main specifications of high-temperature impeller are the following:
• Operating temperature 800˚C
• Rotational speed 1000 rpm
• Impeller diameter 1200mm
• Impeller flow 60000 m3/h
Design was calculated using FEM:
• increased the first natural frequency of the impeller ( >22Hz )
• increased blades stiffness • reduced stresses in the impeller
• reduced impeller weight
Development and manufacture of high temperature impellers for furnace fans.
To increase heating agent circulation in the furnace and increase the coefficient of convective heat transfer, a new aerodynamic scheme can be design and applied while maintaining the overall dimensions of the current impellers.
