OJSC VNIIMT has developed a mathematical model for calculating the heating of grinding balls in a heat treatment furnace ShPS 60-120 of PJSC «Evraz». This model allows to choose the optimal thermal regime for the heat treatment furnace.

Taking into account the obtained calculation results, the following elements of the furnace were designed: a jet heating zone, a soaking zone. Each zone is equipped with high temperature centrifugal fans.

The main specifications of high-temperature furnace fans are the following(in a jet heating zone):
• Total pressure under normal conditions up to 2200 Pa;
• Capacity 25000 m3/h;
• Maximum temperature of transmitted medium up to 400 C;
• Motor power 35 kW.

The main specifications of high-temperature furnace fans are the following(in a soaking zone):
• Total pressure under normal conditions up to 2000 Pa;
• Capacity 20000 m3/h;
• Maximum temperature of transmitted medium up to 400 C;
• Motor power 22 kW.
